Each year, J.D. Power conducts its U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study. This study asks vehicle owners to measure their emotional attachment to and excitement about their new vehicles. The study includes 37 attributes ranging from a sense of interior comfort and the exhilaration of the gas pedal. In the 2021 study, GMC performed well. Here are a few of the highlights.

The GMC Sierra HD came away with the best APEAL ranking in its class for the second year in a row. The Sierra HD offers all of these available upscale features, while still delivering an available best-in-class maximum tow rating of 36,000 pounds.
